Rooms are clean and smell nice. Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast is your typical free fare.

Overall, this is probably the best Howard Johnson I've stayed at. The rooms are bright and inviting. There are no microwaves in the rooms though, which is a bit of a bummer when traveling with a child. Location is great, close to so many amenities. The rooms were quiet and there was no noise from other rooms. I loved that we could open the windows for fresh air! And the beds were so comfortable.

I've been staying here for almost a week now, and overall it's been okay. The environment and cleanliness are acceptable.

We had a pleasant stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Thunder Bay. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which was exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. The bed was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Parking was convenient, which is a big plus when traveling by car. The only downside was the breakfast. It was quite limited and basic, with not many options, so it didn’t really meet our expectations. Because of that, I’m giving the hotel 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, it’s a good, clean hotel for a short stay or road trip stop, and I would still recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room is comfortable and well maintained, with a soft bed and clean, fresh-smelling sheets. The bathroom was also spotless and the shampoo, body wash, and conditioner is great. Breakfast is simple but very tasty. There is a waffle maker, muffins, boiled eggs, different types of bread and a toaster. They also serve tea, juice, and coffee. Only thing is that throughout the night I was able to hear doors closing and the shower from the next room running. I definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

The room was small for king size room, condition from the shower is all over the walls and windows in the room, the sink was plugged, somebody was smoking cannabis and cigarettes. I smelled it in the hall. The hotel was not what we expected for a Howard Johnsons and value for staying here was to high.

Although the outside of the property and the public areas seem a bit worn, the rooms are nicely updated, and extremely comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay here, and highly recommend it for the value of the price. Would definitely stay again.

Location is perfect, rooms are new and renovated, staff is friendly and everything is cleaned and well maintained. Grounds are landscaped very nice as well. Cons, No coffee maker in the room, breakfast is very basic no eggs or meat, sound proofing isn't very good can hear people talking, walking and water running at all hours. Great place to stay for a night if your passing through.
